Q: What do you use to add fragrance to your candles?
A: I use essential oils and/or hand-made, phthalate-free fragrance oils in all of my candles.
Q: Are fragrance oils safe to inhale?
A: The fragrance oils I use are hand-made and phthalate-free, meaning they are free from harmful chemicals and preservatives. They are safe for adults, kids, and animals to inhale.
*if you have allergies to a specific scent please contact me directly for more in-depth ingredient details.
Q: What kind of wax do you use?
A: I use North American soy wax and beeswax harvested and produced by local apiaries in
Frontenac County, Ontario.
Q: What kind of wicks do you use?
A: I use 100% organic cotton wicks as well as wood wicks ethically produced in the USA.
Q: I'm having trouble keeping my wood wick lit. Am I doing something wrong?
A: Wood wicks can be tricky! To light, keep your lighter or match directed at the base of where the wick meets the wax and continue to hold until you see 1/2 of the wick ignited. This could take several attempts as wood wicks require a stronger latch to maintain a strong burn.
