Wicks can be tricky! Keeping your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch before each burn will help ensure your candle burns clean and evenly every time.
For cotton wicks, use scissors or a wick trimmer once the wax has completely cooled
and discard wick clippings before rhi-lighting.
Wood wicks: simply push off the ash wood with your finger as far as it will naturally go. Discard all wick trimmings before rhi-lighting. To rhi-light wood wicks, keep your lighter or match directed at the base of where the wick meets the wax and continue to hold until you see 1/2 of the wick ignited. This could take several attempts as wood wicks require a stronger latch to maintain a strong burn.
For a clean, even burn, allow the wax to melt to the jars edge during each burn.
Soy and beeswax have a memory, so this will create an even burn cycle for future use.
Always rest your candle on a heat resistant surface and never leave it unattended.
Discontinue use when there is 1/4 or less wax on the bottom on the jar.
